In-Person Tours
Interested in a Guided Tour?
Anyone connected to the Virginia Tech community (includes all students, staff, faculty, academic visitors, prospectives students, alumni, industry representatives, etc.) is welcome to tour the Discovery Lab during Open hours and there is not an event scheduled in the Parlor (Room 140).
Our tours generally take 15-20 minutes and cover the Discovery Lab’s technical spaces, instruments, equipment, and available programs. Completing a tour of the Discovery Lab is required for completing the Discovery Lab Orientation Training.
Schedule a Time to Tour the Discovery Lab
We can accommodate drop-in tours as we are able, but prefer you book a time with us.
If you are looking to schedule a tour for prospective students and/or large groups, scheduling your tour is required.
