The Discovery Lab is home to an array of technical spaces including specialized instruments and equipment designed to enable students to transform their ideas into reality.
The all-purpose wet labs in 140A and 140C4 contain everything you need for experiments involving liquids and chemicals. Both Wet Lab spaces are outfitted with benches, skinks fume hoods, centrifuges, vortexers, electrophoresis equipment, and more.
Outfitted with resources for processing water, soil, and other collected field specimens.
The Fabrication Lab located in 140D contains soldering stations, power supplies, and materials needed for “Dry” assembly.
Outfitted with desktop analytical machines for computational work, database generation, and machine learning.
Equipped with equipment for electrical/electronic testing and prototyping.
Small collaborative workspace available for student teams working in the Discovery Lab.
Large collaborative workspace stocked with facilitation materials, magnetic whiteboards, projector, etc.).
Outfitted with 3-D printers and materials for prototyping, sensor development, etc.
